Objectives:
  • Gain better understanding of the concepts of cardiac output, arterial oxygebn, concentration, oxygen delivery & oxygen consumption and how they relate to bedside decision making
  • Gain better understanding of NIRS (near infra-red spectroscopy), how it can help identify "at risk" patients earlier and how it can help direct therapy
