"I decided to become a living donor because I had a professional friend who had kidney issues and her son also developed kidney issues. His kidney was slowly failing and was on dialysis. I saw a posting on Facebook that the family was looking for a kidney donor. So I put my hat in the ring and went through the testing. As it turned out, I was a good match for her son.

Indiana is experiencing a significant increase in influenza-like illnesses (commonly known as flu). In an effort to protect our patients, families, visitors and associates, as well as limit the spread of the virus, St. Vincent is implementing a temporary Visitor Restriction Policy, effective January 9, 2019. This temporary restriction at all ministries will assist us in limiting the spread of influenza and ensuring that we are best equipped to provide exceptional care to our patients.
The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana and St. Vincent announced a new level to their ongoing partnership today. St. Vincent will lease approximately 10,000 square feet of the new Downtown YMCA building, which is set for completion in August 2019.
