St.Vincent offers a comprehensive team of dedicated critical care transport professionals – StatFlight™ and StatGround™. These critical care transport teams are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS). We also have a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) response team.

FAA Part 135. PHI Air Medical Inc. owns and operates the aircraft under the FAA Part 135.

    To the expectant mother – always call 911 for a medical emergency.

    Your primary care OB is the one who will initiate the ONE Call response and transportation arrangements for you to a St.Vincent Hospital or St.Vincent Women’s Hospital, in Indianapolis.

    Our MFM Response Team is ready and making the preparations for your arrival. Our MFM attending physicians and nurses have access to advanced care and treatment for high-risk women and fetal distress.  At all times, we focus on both the maternal needs and the needs of the unborn child and will embrace a holistic approach to health – caring for body, mind and spirit.

    St. Vincent Evansville Perinatal and Pediatric ONE Call Transfer connects you quickly and easily to our highly-experienced Maternal, Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Teams.

    Maternal Transport

    St. Vincent Evansville Maternal-Fetal Transport Team specializes in caring for women with high-risk pregnancies and/or pregnant women who require the advanced resources provided at St. Vincent.

    St. Vincent Evansville Maternal-Fetal Transport Team consists of High-Risk OB nurses, Neonatal Respiratory Therapists, Paramedics and EMTs who have the expertise to provide proficient care for any emergency that may arise during transport.

    Neonatal Transport

    St. Vincent Evansville Neonatal Transport Team has been safely transporting sick and premature babies since 1978. Our Neonatal Transport Team is equipped with state-of-the-art transport isolettes and specialized equipment necessary to provide the best care for the sickest and tiniest babies. Our experienced Neonatal Transport Team consists of Neonatal Nurses, Neonatal Respiratory Therapists, Paramedics and EMTs who have undergone extensive training to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the most fragile of patients.

    • Transport personnel all hold National Certifications and are certified in BLS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E. and Cardiac S.T.A.B.L.E.

    St. Vincent Evansville Pediatric Transport team consists of Pediatric Nurses, Pediatric Respiratory Therapists, Paramedics and EMTs who have been specially trained to transport ill children.

    • Pediatric Transport Team available 24/7

    • Medical care is directed by a Pediatric Intensivist during transport
