Today it is Indiana’s only 16 month accelerated online bachelor’s degree program in nursing.

The program is engaging and interactive. It blends the personal convenience of online course study with enriched clinical learning in the Marian University for St. Vincent simulation lab and at St. Vincent facilities throughout Indiana. You will be guided by faculty online and on-site in a flexible but deadline-driven setting that sufficiently prepares you for a career in nursing.
Graduates of the program receive a BSN degree from Marian University. They are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN in preparation for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana, and are also able to apply for graduate programs of study in nursing.

The need for advanced practice nurses continues to grow. As fewer physicians choose primary care specialties, more patients require critical care, and fewer nurse educators are available, registered nurses with a Master of Science in Nursing are highly sought after.

Through a partnership with Marquette University, registered nurses have the opportunity to earn their Master of Science in Nursing and specialize in adult-older adult acute care.
Marquette University’s ACNP program offers BSN-educated RNs the chance to earn their MSN degree.
Upon program completion, graduates are eligible to sit for the Adult-Gerontology ACNP certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and begin their advanced practice careers in adult acute care settings. With a Master of Science in Nursing, ACNP program graduates are eligible for advanced career options, including leadership, educator, and primary care roles.

Why did you choose to join St. Vincent?
St. Vincent is unique because we offer care of the mind, body and spirit and realize their interconnectedness. I've been in other organizations that say their approach is holistic, but they don't practice what they say. Here holism is practiced at every level of the organization. It is embedded in the culture.
Why have you specialized in oncology administration?
Helping patients is a noble cause; helping cancer patients I think is one of the highest callings because of the severity of the illness and challenges for the patients and their loved ones. My hope is one day we all don't have jobs because we've discovered cures for every type of cancer. We are blessed to have the one of the best teams of cancer specialists, nurses and associates to ensure our cancer patients are supported through their complex and challenging journey.
What are your goals for St. Vincent Cancer Care?
To be recognized as the best patient-centered cancer care program in the state, caring for patients and their loved ones in a holistic body-mind-spirit approach from prevention and screening through diagnosis and treatment and survivorship. To reach our goal, we need to be a high reliable, safe and loving ministry, and serve our cancer patients with the highest quality care as measured by evidenced-base guidelines, pathways and excellent outcomes.
Additional goals are supporting patients and their loved ones throughout the continuum of care with patient navigators; providing the latest treatment options and modalities including clinical trials; enhancing our multidisciplinary clinical programs; implementing oncology electronic medical records; and further enhancing screening and diagnostic, supportive care and survivorship services.
What are the positive changes you've witnessed in oncology delivery?
The shift to patient-focused and holistic care, new targeted therapies, more sensitive technology for early screening and detection, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
St. Vincent Dunn in Bedford has been ranked high in patient satisfaction by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
St. Vincent Dunn patients were asked if they would definitely recommend the hospital to friends and family, and 77 percent of responded said they would, one of the highest response rates in Indiana and 9 percent above the national average. Nearly 80 percent of St. Vincent Dunn patients gave the hospital a 9 or 10 rating on a 0 (worst) to 10 point (best) scale, more than 10 percent above the national average.
In an interview with the Bloomington Herald Times, St. Vincent Dunn President and CEO Debbie Bruner praised her staff for their performance. "We are thrilled the data show what we know to be happening internally here," she said. "Our associates and management team work incredibly hard on ensuring that the patients and families that come through our door have a positive patient experience."
St. Vincent Fishers was named as a 2013 PRC National Excellence in Healthcare Award Winner for overall quality of care perception of the Emergency Department.
Consumers were surveyed by Professional Research Consultants to obtain their confidential perceptions and opinion of various services including the Emergency Department. St. Vincent Anderson Regional has been recognized as a National Top Workplace according to the first annual National Top Workplaces list compiled by Workplace Dynamics. Saint John's was also named one of the Top Workplaces in Indiana, and among the top 10 workplaces overall in the state.
This is the third consecutive year Anderson Regional has been recognized as a Top Workplace award winner in the large company category in a survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics and sponsored by the Indianapolis Star.
Employees nominate the company, and if the company agrees to participate, it registers; there is no fee to participate. Workplace Dynamics surveys the employees with a series of questions. At least 70 percent of employees have to participate to qualify. On Jan. 12, 2010, the sixth-deadliest earthquake in history struck the Republic of Haiti. The Haitian government reported a death toll of more than 200,000, with more than 275,000 injured, and more than 1 million left homeless.
St. Vincent Seton Specialty continues its response to Haiti after the earthquake in supporting Nehemiah Vision Ministries' community health development project in Chambrun, Haiti. Chambrun is located 12 miles northeast of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince. The hospital being built will provide the best medical care outside of the capital city. St. Vincent Seton Specialty is represented on the board of Nehemiah Vision Ministries.
The construction of the new hospital has not been without setback due to the earthquake and hurricanes; however, with the help of mission teams, the construction and opening date are drawing closer. The hospital plans include two surgical suites, exam rooms, a lab, in-patient beds, a pharmacy, eye clinic and dental clinic. In fiscal year 2011 St. Vincent Mercy sent about $9,000 in medication and supplies, which include 13 hospital beds to help furnish the hospital.
The project volunteers including (l-r) Linda Wooton, Colleen Malone, and Marsha Noblitt are grateful for the opportunity to take part because they have said they've gotten a bigger blessing out of this than the children.
The chaplain at St. Vincent Jennings was in a United Way meeting when she learned about the high number of kids receiving free lunches during the school year. She began wondering what these kids did during the summer. It broke her heart to think about these families with no money or gas who no longer could count on getting their lunches from school. She wanted to find a way to provide these children with nutritious lunches during those months they were out of school.
Colleen began speaking with her peers and the St. Vincent Jennings mission team in the last week of May. The mission team became heavily involved with the project, along with an overwhelming community response from the St. Vincent Medical Group, support staff, visiting nurses, school teachers, local churches, and the Jennings County Health Department. Thanks to these combined efforts, the team was able to start providing lunches by early June.
"The ability to provide food has grown tremendously through all the community support," said Colleen.
Throughout the summer, volunteers prepared food and assembled the meals every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in a housing addition not far from the children who would take advantage of the nutritious lunches. The number coming to receive meals grew every week. They were brought by neighbors, carpools, and one week, arrived being pulled behind a tractor to take advantage of the lunch program.
Colleen is now affectionately known as "the food lady" to a lot of the children who have been helped through the program. "This has been a delightful project because of the relationships we have made with the children," said Colleen. "The project volunteers are grateful for the opportunity to take part because they have said they've gotten a bigger blessing out of this than the children. I'm confident that we are making a difference. I am hopeful this is a community group now that will be able to move forward with the program for years to come."

To be considered for employment, all candidates must apply to specific job openings. If there are no relevant openings available, you may still set up an account with a Job Agent, job agent, which allows you to save job search criteria so that you can be notified when new jobs that may be of interest to you are posted to our site. We recommend that you return to the site regularly to search for new openings to make sure you don't miss out on a job opportunity that may be right for you.
Your application will be evaluated based on the education, work experience, applicable licensure, and skills that you have listed on the application, and how they relate to requirements for the job to which you applied. If you are among the top candidates competing for the job, St. Vincent will contact you.

Once the application is withdrawn, you will be able to complete a second application with the correct data.

Yes. You must have created a profile to submit an application for a job. Once you have a profile, you can create automated searches (job agents) that will notify you by e-mail of new openings that match your criteria. A profile can be created even if you do not submit an application for a job.
Use the "Login Help" function on the Login page. You will receive an email containing a temporary password and instructions on how to change your password. Go to the web address specified in the e-mail and enter your temporary password and a new password. Your new password will then be valid, and you can access your personal profile.
