Being diagnosed with cancer can be overwhelming. You may be filled with questions not only about your medical treatment, but also about the impact it will have on you and your family- physically, financially, emotionally, and spiritually.
At St. Vincent, we pride ourselves on the Spirit of Caring. Our ministry is dedicated to holistic care… caring for your mind, body, and spirit.
We have a team of highly skilled professionals to help you through cancer.
Cancer Patient Navigators are nurses and social workers, with certifications in oncology and/or cancer navigation, who have oncology experience and are up to date on diagnostic and treatment pathways. Your navigator helps you from the time of your diagnosis until the end of treatment. There is no charge for a patient navigator.
Patients who are diagnosed with cancer, and receiving some or all of their care at the St. Vincent 86th Street campus are eligible for free Oncology Patient Navigation.
