St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation
Since 1913, the mission at St. Vincent Kokomo has been to serve all persons, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable. The St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation is a separately incorporated not-for-profit organization that exists solely to develop resources that support St. Vincent Kokomo and allow the hospital to fulfill its mission. The Foundation solicits and manages charitable gifts for a wide variety of projects, including new equipment and facilities, continuing medical education, and direct patient care for those who cannot afford it.
Gifts to the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation may be designated for a specific purpose or the donor may request that the gift be applied wherever the need is greatest. The Foundation accepts gifts of cash, stock, property, bequests, trusts or other planned gift arrangements. Every year more than 700 donors support the St. Vincent Kokomo mission through generous gifts to the Foundation. Often, contributions are made in honor or in memory of a beloved individual. Our donors include patients and their families, employees, physicians, volunteers, community leaders, businesses, service organizations, and members of the community who recognize the need to provide health services to those who cannot afford them.
Governed by the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation Board of Directors, a body of community leaders who provide stewardship for the funds and oversight for their expenditure, the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation distributes funds in a manner that strengthens the hospital and the community it serves.
St. Vincent Kokomo has a strong history of private support—giving that has supported accomplishments and excellence over the decades. By staying focused on the mission of St. Vincent Kokomo, the needs of the poor and vulnerable populations, and prudent business operations, the Foundation continues to be a vital force for carrying out the mission of St. Vincent Kokomo.
If you would like to see this tradition of caring for the poor and vulnerable continue, please consider making your own gift to the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation. Whatever form it takes, your gift will provide valuable support for our many programs.
Through the dedicated efforts and continued generosity of our donors, volunteers and community members, we are better able to meet the evolving health care needs of Kokomo and Howard County.

When you donate to the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation, you’re doing your part to ensure that St. Vincent Kokomo can continue to provide exceptional healthcare to everyone in our community, including those who are experiencing financial difficulties. From funding medical care for those who are unable to afford it to purchasing new equipment and supporting programs that enable ever better diagnosis and treatment, the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation uses the gifts it receives to help St. Vincent Kokomo continue moving forward as medicine progresses and improves.
When you make your gift, you can choose to give to a specific program, fund or clinic that is meaningful to you, or you can donate to an unrestricted fund that allows the Foundation to apply your gift wherever the need is greatest at the time. Regardless of whether you donate to a restricted or unrestricted fund, you may use your donation to honor or memorialize a person who is important to you.
