With the right resources and guidance, it is possible to begin again. Drug and alcohol abuse can lead to problems that affect all aspects of daily life. However, with a sense of purpose and assistance from specially trained healthcare providers, change is possible.
The St. Vincent Stress Center offers an education program focusing on alcohol and drug prevention and intervention. The program can be 10, 12 or 20 hours long.
Content is carefully selected to help people reduce their risk for alcohol and drug problems throughout their lives.
The program is nonjudgmental in approach, reducing resistance to the life-saving information presented, and increasing openness to change.
PRIME for Life is an evidence-based program with documented research to support class content.
