Clinic of Hope

The Clinic of Hope was established to meet the primary health care needs of the uninsured of Howard County. The clinic serves adults between the ages of 18 and 64 who:

  • Have low or no income
  • Have no form of health insurance
  • Do not have a doctor they see on a regular basis
  • Meet financial criteria

Patients are seen by appointment only. The clinic is not an emergency care center and walk-ins will not be seen.

Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Closed noon to 1:00 p.m. for lunch

Services Provided 

  • Primary medical care for adults
  • Health education and preventative health counseling
  • Assisting patients to obtain medication needed for care
  • The Clinic of Hope does not keep or supply any form of narcotics and does not specialize in pain control
  • Assisting patients in determining their eligibility for the clinic and other community resources

Our Medical Team

We are staffed by a registered and licensed practical nurse, a licensed social worker and clerical personnel. Our nurse practitioner works in collaboration with board-certified physicians to provide quality health care to patients. The clinic also has volunteer physician support from the community and works closely with Project Access for specialist support.
