Joint Commission Public Notice

Seton is surveyed annually by the Indiana State Department of Health and have enjoyed positive survey experiences.  Seton is also surveyed and accredited by The Joint Commission on a triennial basis.  During Seton’s last Joint Commission (TJC) survey, both the medication reconciliation and Transition Care programs were identified as examples of best practice and were retained by the surveyors.

Survey Process

The purpose of the survey is to evaluate the organization’s compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results are used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded to the organization.

Reporting Concerns

Joint Commission standards deal with organizational quality of care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.

If members of the public have any quality of care or safety concerns about our hospital, the Joint Commission encourages you to bring your complaint first to the attention of St.Vincent Randolph. If this does not lead to resolution, submit your concern to The Joint Commission for review.
