We serve children - Some financial contributions serve 30,000 children each year who depend on St. Vincent for their care. Some need the healing touch of our newborn intensive care unit, while others need our Center For Children, where specialists from around the Midwest provide local diagnosis and treatment. Contributed dollars support these and other valuable ministries.
We heal families - You can give your financial gift to help care for people with cancer, heart disease or other serious diseases. You may want to “adopt” families who cannot afford treatments, or you may want your contribution to purchase life-saving technologies that will benefit all of our patients.
Honor a caregiver - Many people contribute to St. Vincent in the name of a nurse, physician or other caregiver. These dollars (unless otherwise specified) are invested in nursing education.
Need an income? - Retired donors can give a charitable gift annuity to St. Vincent and receive an income from the gift. For example, a 75 year old donor who gives $10,000 can earn 5.8% interest on their donation, receiving quarterly payments for life and also enjoying generous tax deductions.
St. Vincent Volunteers and St. Vincent Auxiliary members are invaluable partners in helping St. Vincent fulfill our Mission of service. Learn more information on how to give the gift of your time as a volunteer and/or auxiliary member.
We've made making a donation quick and easy. You may complete our online donation form or print a copy of the form to mail to the Foundation with your check or money order.
In 1872, the Daughters of Charity established Evansville's first hospital, St. Vincent. The rest is history, literally. Help commemorate the Daughters legacy by purchasing a brick in the new Daughters of Charity Prayer Garden, which is located next to St. Vincent Chapel and St. Vincent Center for Advanced Medicine.
Ted & Clare Ziemer Society
The Ted & Clare Society was established through St. Vincent Evansville Foundation in 2016 as a way for community leaders to continue the legacy of giving that began more than 145 years ago when St. Mary’s Hospital (now St. Vincent Evansville) was founded.
When looking for long-time supporters to recognize by naming the new society in their honor, Ted and Clare Ziemer were the ideal choice. This couple has generously devoted their gifts of time, talents and treasures for the past 30+ years to help advance our health ministry.
Vision Statement: Engaging and inspiring leaders for the future of St. Vincent Evansville through Philanthropy and Volunteerism.
We are a social society with a philanthropic focus. Through our efforts, we identify funding priorities for programs and services within St. Vincent Evansville and St. Vincent Warrick and host social events to raise awareness and support of these needs. The Ziemer Society is a philanthropic society and members are invited to contribute $250.00 per person. The Society raises funds through memberships and event registration fees for ongoing philanthropy projects.
Since we held our kick-off celebration on September 21, 2016, here’s what we’ve achieved to date:
October 13, 2016 – Ziemer Society at Carson’s Brewery
Event proceeds funded Halloween costumes for children who were patients on our Pediatric Unit at St. Vincent Hospital for Women & Children.
December 23, 2016
Several Ziemer Society members purchased and delivered gifts for children in our Pediatric Unit and parents with babies in our Newborn Intensive Care Unit. They helped bring holiday cheer to our pediatric patients and their family members.
January 27, 2017 – Ziemer Society Culinary Experience
Two of Evansville’s favorite chefs, Scott Schymik and Jayson Munoz, hosted an event and shared some of their favorite culinary creations at Sauced Restaurant in Haynie’s Corner. Event proceeds supported essential needs for pediatric patients, such as clothing and toiletries.
May 18, 2017 – Ziemer Society Gathering at the Home of Dr. Mark and Donna Logan
The Society announced our first-ever signature philanthropic project. The project will help fund equipment and materials for a sensory room within our Feeding Program at St. Vincent Center for Children. The Feeding Program assists infants to 18-year-olds who experience difficulty with feeding, including NICU babies, children with developmental delays, children with aversions to eating and more. The sensory room is a key component of the program. Children who receive sensory input prior to feeding treatments are better able to focus and participate in therapy.
September 28, 2017 – Ziemer Society Gathering at the Home of Rachel and Brian Spalding
Event proceeds will allow us to make patient rooms in our Endoscopy suite at St. Vincent Evansville kid-friendly. Donations will also purchase an iPad for our pediatric patients to use for learning and distraction purposes.
March 15, 2018- Ziemer Society Event to Benefit St. Vincent Evansville NICU
Event proceeds will benefit the St. Vincent Evansville Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) by purchasing an AccuVein for our NICU babies. The AccuVein will allow our NICU staff to visualize veins in infants, helping to make IV sticks more successful on the first try. This will eliminate putting stress on infants while trying to insert an IV.
November 10, 2018 - Ted and Clare Ziemer Society Football Tailgate at Farm 57
Event proceeds will go to support the purchase of bottle warmers for our pediatric patients.
The Founding Friends of the Ziemer Society Membership Level is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the Mission of St. Vincent Evansville. Society membership is an annual donation:
$500.00 donation for a couple
$250.00 donation for an individual
At this membership level, you may attend all Ziemer Society events through 2018 at no additional cost.
Unique sponsorship opportunities are also available for companies.

St. Vincent Jennings Foundation

Today, all hospitals face a similar challenge in meeting the needs of their patients while dealing with the costs of rapid technological advances and cutbacks in funding. The Foundation helps bridge that gap.
St. Vincent Jennings Foundation is currently raising funds for a blanket warmer and reclining chairs for the inpatient unit and other projects for St. Vincent Jennings. Since 1913, the mission at St. Vincent Kokomo has been to serve all persons, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable. The St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation is a separately incorporated not-for-profit organization that exists solely to develop resources that support St. Vincent Kokomo and allow the hospital to fulfill its mission. The Foundation solicits and manages charitable gifts for a wide variety of projects, including new equipment and facilities, continuing medical education, and direct patient care for those who cannot afford it.
Gifts to the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation may be designated for a specific purpose or the donor may request that the gift be applied wherever the need is greatest. The Foundation accepts gifts of cash, stock, property, bequests, trusts or other planned gift arrangements. Every year more than 700 donors support the St. Vincent Kokomo mission through generous gifts to the Foundation. Often, contributions are made in honor or in memory of a beloved individual. Our donors include patients and their families, employees, physicians, volunteers, community leaders, businesses, service organizations, and members of the community who recognize the need to provide health services to those who cannot afford them.
Governed by the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation Board of Directors, a body of community leaders who provide stewardship for the funds and oversight for their expenditure, the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation distributes funds in a manner that strengthens the hospital and the community it serves.
St. Vincent Kokomo has a strong history of private support—giving that has supported accomplishments and excellence over the decades. By staying focused on the mission of St. Vincent Kokomo, the needs of the poor and vulnerable populations, and prudent business operations, the Foundation continues to be a vital force for carrying out the mission of St. Vincent Kokomo.
If you would like to see this tradition of caring for the poor and vulnerable continue, please consider making your own gift to the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation. Whatever form it takes, your gift will provide valuable support for our many programs.
Through the dedicated efforts and the continued generosity of our donors, volunteers and community members, we are better able to meet the evolving health care needs of Kokomo and Howard County.
When you donate to the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation, you’re doing your part to ensure that St. Vincent Kokomo can continue to provide exceptional healthcare to everyone in our community, including those who are experiencing financial difficulties. From funding medical care for those who are unable to afford it to purchasing new equipment and supporting programs that enable ever better diagnosis and treatment, the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation uses the gifts it receives to help St. Vincent Kokomo continue moving forward as medicine progresses and improves.
When you make your gift, you can choose to give to a specific program, fund or clinic that is meaningful to you, or you can place your gift to the Capital Equipment fund where your gift meets the greatest need.

Volunteers provide an essential service to our facility and act as an extension of St. Vincent Randolph in our community.
